Praise for The Trouble With Trying to Date a MurdererThis book was roller coaster of a read but throughout the whole book the writing was amazing and keep me wonderfully engaged. Romily keeps me constantly in giggles and all the side characters need a book . I felt like I was learning the world as Romily was the love intrest is wonderful, sweet and a little protective which makes them perfect in my book. If you want a book that will keep you guessing with a wonderful love story as well give this book a read.
- Jade R, Amazon Reviewer If you’re a fan of Alice Winters’ writing (especially Hitman’s Guide), you’ll probably love this. It was a wee bit violent but FUNNY and full of action. I laughed and highlighted throughout. I can’t wait for more! - Courtney Bassett, Amazon Reviewer So I read some of the more negative views and actually wondered if I really wanted to read this book and I think it colored my opinion at first, but I persevered and I am SOOOO glad I did! It was funny and full of adventure and characters that I would love to unobtrusively watch! The humor was perfect for me and although I had to get used to it the narration style was perfect for this story! I love it and I'm really looking forward to the next one! PS Yes please on Bellamy and the sirens story! - Anna Despain, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Barbarian Orc:Light-hearted and delightfully ridiculous with a puzzle of a underlying plot in a textured fantasy world. What a fun read!
--From a review by TaraK on Amazon This was a great first installment to a new crack fantasy series. I LOVe the TTRPG feel and that expectation of how anything could happen, especially in a party full of unique characters. It is easy to care for the two main characters Berklak and Lawton. Both of these characters have issues that they must deal with that are out of their control and they find interesting and fun ways to deal with a lot of them. I can’t wait to read more installments of this series and hope that the author is able to write more stories in this world as what has been created is an amazing place that would be fun to visit and see more of. --From a review by Wilsy7501 on Amazon There's a joy to a well-written crack story, and this is absolutely enjoyable! Writing crack isn't as easy as some might think - or at least, writing GOOD crack isn't. This first installment not only gives us the fantastic humor that we expect from a good crack story, it also delivers on believable plot, fully-developed and well-rounded characters, and a need to know more. Thankfully, this IS only the first installment, and the next is coming out soon!~ Read this if you enjoy tongue-in-check humor, and have a fondness for plucky-snarky-necromancers and half-orcs who love adventure! --From a review by Raichel on Amazon |
Praise for Diviner's Game:"Jennifer has built a fascinating world that sucked me in from the first page. Deejay and Matt were hot together, and I loved their dynamic and differences in character. The story is intriguing and kept me hooked to the last page...and left me eager to start the next book!"
-Nora Phoenix, bestselling MM Romance author "Characters that suck you in and stories that keep you captivated…definitely one of my go-to authors." -Shaw Montgomery, author of the Leashes and Lace series. This is so good! I don't know where to start - the plot, plot twists, the characters all held my attention to the very end. Deejay, is hella frightening when he curses, there is a reason his title is the Maledict! Honestly, just read the book, it's like no other story out there! - Dee Slate, Amazon Reviewer I loved Knight to Castle Two. I really enjoyed Loki and Gage’s story. It mixes in the story timeline from the 1st book. Seeing this world come to life and the characters growth through the story was brilliant. I didn’t want to put this book down. I think i liked Loki and Gage more then Deejay and Matt. Can’t wait for more. - Tessa Kelly, Amazon Reviewer This series has already been outstanding but this book was totally amazing. Each book gives you a view of the game from their point of view but with Chanda's and Robbie's story, you get to see the whole picture of what's going on. All of these characters are so great. I can't wait to continue on to the spinoff series. - DLB2572, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Shattered Pawns:I was intrigued and charmed by Tio throughout the Diviner’s Game trilogy, so I was thrilled to finally get to his book. Of course he needs two mates to keep up with his chaotic self lol. I loved all three of them and how they balanced each other out, but Tio is the one who kept me laughing. Oh, and the things he can do with those chaos arms (think tentacles ha ha)!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat (and even brought me to tears at one point), and I can’t wait to find out what happens next (because yes, there’s a definite cliffhanger here)! - Courtney Bassett, Amazon Reviewer Oh.My.Gods. It’s SO good. Like suck you in, make you laugh, make you cry, make you scream WTF several times, good. The story is so fully thought out, the world is just…amazingly original and imaginative. I cannot recommend this book hard enough. (Mostly because I never know what to say in book recommendations.) Be aware- there is some kinky stuff in this book. It’s so hot…if you’re ok with that kind of thing. Make sure you read the trigger warning at the beginning. - Trace, Amazon Reviewer Ok….. the world building in these books is mind blowing!! The author is a master at timing! When to reveal things, what to hold back, when to drop the big bombs! I’m never bored and I never predict all the twists and turns. It keeps things fresh and I can’t put these books down! -Tara Joseph, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Houston Hub:This was delightful. Despite the horrific start to life Genesis had, this was upbeat and had some great humor alongside the kink (like Genesis thinking that the attraction he was feeling was hunger, leading to lots of eating). There was a pretty epic face-off too. I really enjoyed it!
- Courtney Bassett, Amazon Reviewer I absolutely loved Diviner’s Game and getting this side story was the cherry on top of a great series. Anyone who loves M/M age gap paranormal romance should definitely check these out. Bravo! - Heather MacDougall, Amazon Reviewer Forgotten Fox was a sweet teacher/student romance with a possessed sweet guy and his very gruff but very caring teacher. I adored this story a lot. - Anky's Book Bubble, Amazon Reviewer This is a funny, steamy quick read. These two are a lot of fun. We also get a quick update on our favorite 13 year olds (even if they aren't 13 anymore.) - JD, Amazon Reviewer This is a steamy short that adds a little extra to the Diviner’s Game trilogy. The student/teacher aspect adds dimension to this sexy story. The characters aren’t as well developed as the ones in the original trilogy, but it works well for a bonus short. I definitely recommend reading at least the first two DG books before jumping into this one. - Lily in Durango, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Recovery Road:Wow this book really has been been an amazing read. The love between the brothers and Gentry has been so very moving. I only hope there is more in store from them in the future. Jennifer Cody I've loved your Recovery Road books.
- Maddie, Amazon Reviewer This is an absolutely beautiful, deeply painful and then magnificently triumphant story. As I read it, my eyes were full of tears repeatedly - sometimes in horror, or sympathy, but mostly for the many victories large and small these two men achieve alone and together, each for himself and both for each other. If the trigger warning concerns you, take care of yourself and heed it and DO NOT read this book - but otherwise, I absolutely recommend this book! - David, Amazon Reviewer I usually avoid reading anything too angsty, but I'd read the second book in the series when it came out and decided to give this one a go. It's a story of survivorship and overcoming the bad things in life that aren't your fault. And though angsty, it's also a sweet tale of friends who grow to be lovers. The senstive way the author handles a difficult subject matter definitely helps. -JenWat, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Sledge & ClawI won’t repeat the blurb, but I will say this story is phenomenal and unique and definitely worth the time it takes to read. There’s so much to unpack but it really just brings the story together perfectly. The characters, including side characters, are really fleshed out, and some their characteristics are just a … “I’ve never even heard of that before!” level of one of a kind.
All the stars and then some for this book and I can’t wait for the next one. And the one after that. -Trace, Amazon Reviewer This is a thrilling start to a new series set in a fascinating world. Dark and unapologetic Lex is judge, jury and executioner for those who don't deserve to live in the world and by his own words he's not the scariest monster out there. The action is a nonstop roller-coaster all the way to explosive climax that will leave you itching for the next book. I loved the supporting characters and can't wait to delve deeper into their stories. - Melissa, Amazon Reviewer Wow...there was so much to absorb in this one but I never felt loss. It was different and I liked it. You learn a lot about Lex and what he is capable of. You also learn some of his weaknesses. This is only book 1 so I expect to learn even more about Lex and everything in his world. I am also hoping to get more of him and Tor (an OA who has secrets of his own) as well as Roberts. I like the relationship she and Lex are building. Really this book just feels like it's scratching the surface of so much more to come. I found it entertaining and it kept me enthralled 😉Bring on book 2 😆 -Manduh, Amazon Reviewer |
Praise for Catch Me:Deliciously wicked! This is well within, suspenseful, and immediately grabs your attention and keeps it through Fowler and Callum' first erotic dance of hunter and prey. Can't wait for the next episode!!
- Jenney Rockman, Amazon Reviewer Very high non-con and slight dub-con, explicit images of being hunted/forced and a general dark tone make this an exceptionally good dark exotic tale. There's exactly the right amount of background to give you a glimpse into the characters and their motives, while also teasing of revelations yet to come. The author states that this is going to have further volumes, and I'm totally invested in finding out how this story is going to play out. Definitely recommendable! - Guardian Angel, Amazon Reviewer This story is not for the faint of heart. It’s a bit of Dexter in a PNR MM smut form. This is dub-con at its finest. Callum and Fowler are hot AF and the fact that Fowler is a paranormal being bumps the sex up to about a thousand! I can’t wait for the next episode - Lily in Durango, Amazon Reviewer |
